…of marriage and death (and what we can learn from them)
Wednesday, January 11th, 2006there’s two weddings that i have to attend this january (so far) and two funerals too (so far).
okay, not really funerals bcos both were and going to be cremated and that i visited when they’re in the ‘mourning house’ (freely translated from: ‘rumah duka’ lol)
anyway…
it’s quite sad.
the first wedding was of my cousin. And like any other wedding of a relative of mine, i was being ‘employed’ as the one ‘behind the desk’. Yes, it made me lost every opportunity to taste every possible delicious food inside *sniff* but yes, i could dress real nice, being make-up and thus look a little pretty than my original face lol (got my hair curled and i look real nice 
), and of course ‘get paid’! 
but d-uh… after almost two hours standing and ’serving’, they got to be kidding if they give us what we deserved to have lol.
